OpenID is what all the cool kids use, and seems to go with the flow you guys got going on here. Would be damn nice.

I'm not really impressed by OpenID. Maybe if someone convinces me there's a use.

What would be good would be common user profiles for Lighthouse and GitHub - either an optional, data-sharing agreement between the two sites.. or something involving OpenID.

I like not having to use passwords with the certificate based login from myopenid.com
It's a great idea defunkt!

OpenID is the best, you really should support it.
Also, why mark this ticket as resolved? It's not... invalid, maybe, but not resolved...

I agree... having to log in once and then having easy access to all my sites (that support openid) is an excellent feature.

I love OpenID. It means I never have to remember passwords for sites that implement it. Very useful.

OpenID ftw:
- Single sign-on
- Github stores less passwords which places the burden of security more heavily on the user rather than github
- Everyone else is doing it... I just signed into lighthouse using OpenID to make this +1 post
- Everyone else is using it. Most git users are early adopters who like the idea of OpenID
