Permission denied to correct SSH Key
Reported by Fahim | May 16th, 2008 @ 01:46 AM
Here are the steps I took:
- I deleted a private repository called "eviplist-com" that I was previously testing with. This repo worked perfectly fine.
- I created a new private repository called "eviplist".
- Followed the directions to create a new SSH key, submitted one under Deploy keys for the new private repository.
- Deleted my old key for the previous private repository.
- Removed github from my knownhosts
I still get this error:
fahims-macbook:evip fahim$ git push origin
ERROR: Permission to fahim/eviplist denied to fahim/eviplist-com.
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly
This is urgent. Please reply ASAP.

In the mean time, you can create another user account on you machine and run ssh-keygen. Add that key to your account, and then push your repo.
