Allow bookmark repos without watching them
Reported by Kevin Ballard | May 31st, 2008 @ 01:11 AM
There are some repos I want to bookmark but I don't want their traffic showing up in my news feed. I'd love a way to do this without relying on literally bookmarking the repos.

+1 Definitely agree with this. My GH News Feed is super cluttered right now (so I've resorted to just building my own News Feed by aggregating the feeds that I am actually interested in on a day-to-day basis).

+1 I don't use the RSS feed because I use watch in place of bookmarking. Being able to use the feed would be great

How about a tagging system? delicious stylee... that way you can tag the repo into categories you want to keep an eye on (dbutils,plugins,etc..) and subscribe to tag-feeds for those you want regular updates on. This could also provide another way of searching/grouping projects into relevant categories.
Just an idea thrown out for thought...
