gem build fails, no such directory

Heya, I tried to set up the rubygems building thing for my legs library at http://github.com/Bluebie/legs/t...
The gem build failed with the following error:
No such file or directory - tmp/Bluebie/legs
Was posted to me a few minutes after I pushed the update. I did try building the gem locally, and the bit of script that is supposed to replicate the safe environment github builds them in, both caused no exceptions, though the later didn't produce any gem file, the former did.
The test script does puts out this though:
