The <%= in my code block got turned into a greater-than entity. Find: render_crumbs

This appears to be happening to markdown READMEs as well, see #924

This was reported 2 months ago. It should only take a few minutes to fix something this easy. Is there any way this can get fixed sometime soon? I can't use HTML or erb examples at all in my readme. Anything with a <, class extensions etc. It should be as simple as textile(content_for_readme), or whatever format the readme is in. I don't need github to remove html from my readme. If mess up my HTML and ruin the page that should be my problem.

Fixed! Check http://github.com/zachinglis/cru...
Two minutes to fix? You must not be a developer, Ben :)

Ha ha, I just want to see this fixed. It gets annoying when you spend an hour writing a readme and all of the examples are ruined. Is there a temporary work around to get html in examples?

No workaround needed, the fix has been deployed. You may need to clear browser cache to get a fresh page, of course.
