The most watched/fork lists are boring

The most watched/forked projects list on the front page basically never change. They have been rails/merb-core/gitnub/etc for as long as I recall seeing them..
It would be nice to see the most forked/watched projects in the last 7 days(and links for last month/year?) - that way new projects get more chance of getting noticed, and it keeps the home-page changing.
